Wendy Tien
Founder Wendy Tien is a Life Coach and Gallup Strengths Coach who is passionate about helping people discover their strengths and navigate life with confidence.
Through her journey, she realized that while people have infinite potential, they are often entangled in complex emotions without fully understanding their meaning. This led her to delve into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to better comprehend the logic behind emotions and guide individuals toward inner balance.
During coaching sessions, she leads clients to form incense patterns (打香篆), allowing them to find stillness in the rising smoke. As the fragrant mist flows through the air, their emotions gradually settle, their thoughts become clearer, and anxiety and confusion begin to dissolve in the moment.

Dorsey You, a practitioner of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a student of ancient incense rituals, and the founder of Pawsus.
Three years ago, while drowning in anxiety and self-doubt amid the relentless pace of city life, a counseling session introduced me to CBT. My therapist said, *“Emotions are not enemies, but messengers.”* Those words became a beacon, illuminating my path to inner exploration.
I began deconstructing emotions through science—documenting negative thoughts, analyzing cognitive traps—while reclaiming bodily awareness through yogic breathing and learning to coexist with emotions through meditation. Yet it was an unexpected encounter with *incense sealing* that revealed the essence of healing to me: as agarwood powder took shape in a bronze censer, each wisp of rising smoke resembled the manifestation of my thoughts. With every breath, chaotic emotions gradually crystallized along the incense’s ethereal trails. In that moment, I realized: **emotional management could be a ritualistic dialogue with oneself.**
The two founders together created Pawsus, a brand dedicated to emotional healing and self-exploration through the art of incense inscription. "Paw" symbolizes breaking free from constraints, "Su" represents the flowing movement of incense, and the reversed "S" embodies infinite vitality.
Through Pawsus, the founders aspire to help more people find inner peace, release emotional burdens, and rediscover their natural rhythm through the guidance of fragrance—embracing life with positivity and balance.
